Our Clubs
The Fleurieu Horse & Pony Club is a traditional pony club which is affiliated with national and state Pony Club Associations.

Pony Club is a youth organisation whose aims and objectives include:
-
Encouraging young people to enjoy all kinds of sport and pleasure connected with horses and riding.
-
Providing instruction in riding and horsemanship and instilling in young people a love of their horses, a sense of responsibility and acceptance of the responsibility for the proper care of their animals.
-
Promoting the highest ideals of sportsmanship, citizenship and loyalty, thereby cultivating strength of character and self-discipline.
The Yankalilla District Equestrian Club was formed in 2011 to provide an alternative for adult riders or juniors not wishing to participate in external Pony Club events.

A basic club membership option is offered through our partnership with Equestrian Australia, as many riders have no desire to compete outside the club.
In providing a social network for like-minded people within the community we are looking towards growing the sport within our district and also provide inspiration for riders of all ages and abilities.
